I do two things, and I do them for the same reason — I love the moment someone sees themselves clearly. Sometimes that happens in my chair, when the makeup lands and a client sits up a little straighter. Sometimes it happens weeks after a shoot, when a gallery arrives and someone recognizes their own family in it.
